Verizon Wireless has released an update for the LG Spectrum that bumps the smartphone's software up to Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread and fixes a number of bugs along the way. Most of the bugs fixed were in the email and browser apps, and Verizon has also used the update to force owners into newer versions of its NFL, VZ Navigator, Verizon Video, and V CAST apps. The update is rolling out now, and owners should get a notification on their handsets when it is ready to be downloaded and installed.source: Verizon Wireless, via: Android Central
