Along with the water-resistant Hydro, Kyocera has also announced the Rise. The Rise is an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone that features a slide-out four-row QWERTY keyboard.
Like the Hydro, the Rise is another entry-level device. It comes equipped with a 3.5-inch HVGA (480 x 320 pixel) display, a 1GHz single-core processor, and 512MB of RAM. There is a 3.2 megapixel camera on back, and the Rise includes a 1500mAh battery and a 2GB microSD card pre-installed (it supports cards up to 32GB in capacity). The phone measures 113.0mm x 60.5mm x 14.3mm (4.45in x 2.38in x .56in) in size.
Kyocera did not say which carriers the Rise will launch on, but it features support for CDMA networks, so Sprint seems like a likely option.source: Kyocera
