Skype 4.0 for iOS gets UI tweaks, performance enhancements

Skype has released version 4.0 of its app for the iOS platform, and with this new version comes a number of performance enhancements and usability improvements. Skype has added the ability to reposition a user's video preview, and has addressed bugs that hampered stability. Now, should the app unexpectedly close, it will automatically restart. Additionally, the contacts and messaging sections of the app have received a makeover. Skype for iOS is free and works with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad, and iPod touch.
