Acer has announced a new member of its smartphone family, the curiously-named Liquid Glow. The Liquid Glow features Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it will be available in three colors.

Acer says the Liquid Glow is for the "fun-seeking youth," and its low-to-mid-range specs affirm that. It has a 3.7-inch display and a basic 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and all of the camera features that come with Android 4.0. The Glow also has NFC support built-in, so it can take advantage of Android 4.0's Beam function. Acer says the casing of the Glow features a soft-touch material for a quality feel and better grip.

The Liquid Glow will be offered in three colors: Sakura Pink, Alpine White, and Cat's-eye Black, and the theme of the user interface will match the color of the phone itself. It is expected to be available in early summer 2012.
