NVIDIA has announced that its quad-core plus one processor, the Tegra 3, now supports LTE modems. The company is partnering with modem manufacturers Renesas and GCT Semiconductor to bring the high-speed data services to devices packing its new speedy processor. NVIDIA notes that having high-speed cellular data in addition to the gaming chops that the Tegra 3 already has will offer a compelling wireless multi-player gaming experience.
