Comcast is taking Sprint to court over the wireless carrier's alleged infringements of its patents. Comcast claims that Sprint violates four of its patents with the way it handles voice and data traffic; MMS, SMS, mobile email, and picture mail services; and how USB modems and hotspots allow a computer to connect to Sprint's network. Comcast is looking for an injunction as well as damages and legal fees. Sprint filed its own lawsuit against Comcast a couple of months ago, alleging that the cable company infringed its VoIP patents.
