Mozilla has announced that the Mozilla Marketplace, a store for webapps that are built with HTML5, will be launched at Mobile World Congress next week. Mozilla says that the Marketplace will allow developers to build one app that works across a variety of mobile platforms. The company claims that this is the first market for these types of operating system- and device-independent apps. Developers will be able to submit apps to the Marketplace starting next week, and it will be available to consumers later this year.source: Mozilla
