T-Mobile has filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission urging the committee to block the proposed acquisition of spectrum holdings from cable companies by Verizon Wireless. T-Mobile contends that the acquisitions would concentrate too much spectrum in Verizon's hands. Verizon announced its intent to purchase $3.6 billion worth of spectrum licenses from Comcast Corp., Time Warner Cable Inc., Bright House Networks, and Cox Communications last year.
