Reuters is reporting that Nokia plans to announce the Lumia 610 next week in Barcelona. The Lumia 610 is reportedly a cheaper version of its Windows Phone-based Lumia smartphones that will be targeted at a wider market.
Not much is known about the Lumia 610, but earlier rumors have said that Microsoft is close to releasing the "Tango" version of Windows Phone that supports lower spec hardware. The Lumia 610 is expected to be announced during Nokia's press event at Mobile World Congress. Nokia is also expected to announce a version of the Lumia 900 for international markets.
In other Nokia news, the company released a teaser video for a device that promises to offer a "pure view." The video also has the date February 27, 2012 in it, so it is surely for something that Nokia will announce next week. You can take a look at the video below. [via Phone Scoop]
