There is no shortage of Kickstarter projects that aim to develop new cases for Apple's iPhone 4 and 4S, but a new one called cellhelmet from CellPig.com promises that it is so tough that you will not be able to break the phone inside of it. The creators of cellhelmet even go as far as to insure customers' iPhones for a year after the purchase of the case.
In addition to being super tough, the cellhelmet case features a thin profile, so it does not make the iPhone feel like a brick of a device. The insurance program allows buyers to make a claim if their phone breaks accidentally while in the case. The insurance is administered by the Global Warranty Group.
The cellhelmet is expected to retail for $44.99, and Kickstarter support pledges start at $20. The team has already raised more than its $10,000 goal, so it should have the green light for production at this point. You can learn more about cellhelmet at its Kickstarter page.
