Samsung and U.S. Cellular have announced that the Galaxy S II smartphone will be headed to the regional carrier in the near future. The Galaxy S II features a dual-core, 1.2GHz Samsung Exynos processor, a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It will be available soon for $229.99 with a new two-year contract.
