Citing the ever-informative "sources familiar with the matter," The Wall Street Journal reports that both AT&T and Verizon Wireless plan to sell a version of the next iPad released by Apple with 4G LTE connectivity. Currently, Verizon Wireless and AT&T carry 3G compatible versions of the iPad 2.
Other rumors have reported that Apple will announce the iPad 3 at an event on March 7. It is expected to have a faster, possibly quad-core processor, a higher resolution 2048×1536 Retina display, and the aforementioned 4G LTE connectivity available as an option. There is also a possibility that the new iPad has higher resolution cameras of either 5 or 8 megapixels (the iPad 2's rear camera is currently 1.3 megapixels, while the front camera is VGA quality).
