Nokia has finally made the Belle smartphone platform update available for a number of its previously-released Symbian smartphones. Belle includes a number of new features and enhancements, including widgets, an Android-style notification bar, and more homescreens.
Nokia says that the browser has also been improved with Belle, and overall navigation has been simplified. Owners of the Nokia E7, Nokia E6, Nokia X7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia C7, or Nokia Oro smartphones can plug their phones into their PCs and update the phones using the Nokia Suite software. An over-the-air update is not available. Nokia says the update will also be available for the Nokia 500 smartphone in the next few weeks.
Take a look at the video below to see all that Belle has to offer over the older versions of Symbian.
