Nokia has announced that Australia will be included in the latest round of expansion for its Windows Phone-powered Lumia line of smartphones. Nokia has also announced that Australians will have access to the device in a white color scheme in addition to the previously-released black, cyan, and magenta options.
Aside from the new color option, the Australian Lumia 800 appears to be the same device as released in other parts of the world. Carriers Optus, Telstra, and Vodafone are all expected to stock the phone when it arrives in March, but pricing has yet to be announced.
The N9 received the white color treatment as a special edition after the other color options were already on the market for some time, so hopefully the white option for the Lumia 800 makes its way to other markets and isn't just a one-off for Australia. [Nokia via The Verge]
