According to a roadmap obtained by BGR, the Nokia Lumia 900 smartphone is set to launch for AT&T on March 18 for an impressive $99 on-contract price.

Earlier rumors had mentioned the March 18 launch date before, but we have not had any data on the price of the phone, other than Nokia's statement that it would be "aggressive." We would go ahead and consider $99 an aggressive price point for a high-end smartphone, as it undercuts the flagship devices from Nokia's competitors by at least $100 if it turns out to be the real price the Lumia 900 launches at.

BGR does note that it doesn't look like the Lumia 900 has received technical acceptance to run on AT&T's network just yet, so the tentative March 18 date could slip. However, if Nokia is able to bring the Lumia 900 to market for only $99 on-contract, we might be willing to forgive a slightly later launch date. Just don't wait until June.
