According to Reuters, ZTE has set some lofty goals for its 2012. The company, which is generally considered the fourth largest phone manufacturer in the world, has said that it plans to at least double the number of phones it ships in 2012 when compared with 2011. The company had set a goal of 80 million handsets shipped for 2011.
ZTE has also said that it plans to expand its roll-out of Windows Phone smartphones to include other markets. Its ZTE Tania Windows Phone 7.5 smartphone is currently available in parts of Europe.
