After being told that Apple's flagship store in Beijing, China would not open and begin sales of the Apple iPhone 4S on time, would-be customers started throwing eggs, which eventually led to fighting. Riot police were called into to control the situation, according to Reuters.
While there were no incidents at any of Apple's other China retail locations, Apple has responded by discontinuing retail store sales of the iPhone 4S in order to avoid any repeats of today's issues. The iPhone 4S is still available online, though.
