During the keynote presentation for CES 2012 last night, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer revealed that the Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone would be available in Microsoft stores in the U.S. in the coming months. The Microsoft stores will sell the phone unlocked, so it can be used with any GSM carrier. Mr. Ballmer did not give an exact date as to when it would be available or how much it will cost when it goes on sale. Various importers have been selling the Lumia 800 unlocked in the U.S. for prices just under $600 in recent months.
