HTC unveiled the Titan II today, a whopper of a device for AT&T. The Titan II is similar to the Titan that preceded it, but it features support for AT&T's 4G LTE network and a new 16 megapixel camera.
The Titan II retains the massive 4.7-inch display that characterized the original Titan, but it packs a faster, 1.5GHz processor to go along with the faster data speeds afforded by 4G LTE. The new 16 megapixel camera is one of the highest-resolution shooters available on a smartphone, and HTC says it is a significant upgrade from the 8 megapixel unit on the Titan. It has dedicated image processor and backlight illuminated sensor for low-light shooting.
The Titan II runs Windows Phone 7.5, and is one of the first Windows Phone devices to support 4G LTE services. AT&T will offer the Titan II in the coming months for an as-yet undisclosed price.
