A poster in a public area of the Las Vegas Convention Center has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Note, a smartphone-tablet hybrid device, is headed to AT&T. The Android powered slate is expected to go on sale next month.

The Galaxy Note features a large, 5.3-inch Super AMOLED(INFO) touchscreen display with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, which is enough to show native 720p HD video content. The European model features a dual-core 1.4GHz processor and comes equipped with a forward-facing 2 megapixel camera as well as a rear 8 megapixel camera that can record full 1080p HD video, so we expect similar specs on the AT&T model.

We look forward to getting some hands-on time with the Samsung Galaxy Note once CES 2012 officially starts this week.
