Microsoft's rapidly-growing Windows Phone Marketplace has hit another milestone, as it now reports that over 50,000 apps (50,126 to be exact) have been published to it. Over 17,000 apps have been added to the Marketplace in the past 90 days, thanks in no small part to the launch of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Microsoft still has a long way to go to catch up to Apple and Google when it comes to apps, but the Marketplace's growth has been accelerating, so that is a good sign for those that are fans of the Windows Phone operating system.
