Samsung has announced the Galaxy Y DUOS, its first all-touchscreen smartphone with support for dual SIM cards.

The Galaxy Y DUOS sports a 3.14-inch, QVGA (240 x 320 pixel) touchscreen display, and is powered by an 832MHz processor. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung's TouchWiz interface and has a 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera with video recording capabilities. The Galaxy Y DUOS measures 109.8mm x 60mm x 11.98 mm (4.32in x 2.36in x 0.47in) and weighs 109g (3.85oz).

Dual SIM support in the Galaxy Y DUOS allows users to seamlessly switch between two different phone numbers on the same device. Samsung says that it will bring the Y DUOS to market in January, and it will be available in Europe, CIS, Latin America, Southeast and Southwest Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and China. No pricing information is available at this time.
