Summary

The Samsung Captivate Glide for AT&T is a fairly unique device in Samsung's extensive U.S. smartphone line-up. Featuring a 4-inch display and a 4-row QWERTY keyboard, the Captivate Glide has many features borrowed from both the Galaxy S and Galaxy S II families of smartphones (though it carries no Galaxy branding of its own).

What this means for the prospective smartphone shopper is that they can get the software improvements of the Galaxy S II line and also get the benefit of a hardware keyboard - an increasing rarity among high-end smartphones these days.

The Captivate Glide offers an attractive package for those who want a powerful smartphone, but aren't satisfied with a virtual keyboard for their text input. While the Captivate Glide has a few faults, it offers a mostly-positive experience, so read on to find out what I loved, and what I missed from the Captivate Glide.
