T-Mobile is delivering a software update to the HTC Amaze 4G today that adds a number of improvements to the device, including Wi-Fi calling. Wi-Fi calling, which has been available on other T-Mobile phones for some time, allows users to make phone calls over their own Wi-Fi network, saving their plan's minutes for when they are away from home. The Wi-Fi calling feature is also useful for those that live in areas where T-Mobile's network is not especially strong. The update is being delivered to users in stages, and users should get notifications on their phones when it is ready to be downloaded and installed.source: T-Mobile, via: T-Mo News
