BlackBerry PlayBook gets bug fix, security patch update

Though RIM has promised to update the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet to version 2.0 of the BlackBerry Tablet OS next February, that hasn't stopped it from releasing iterative bug fixes and security patches for the tablet. Today, the company released version 1.0.8.6067 of the Tablet OS, which contains a fix for Daylight Savings Time and various security updates that pertain to file sharing between the PlayBook and a computer. Users can go to the Software Update section of the Settings menu to download and install the update now.
