Last night Amazon started delivering a software update to the Kindle Fire tablet that upgraded the system software to version 6.2. Chances are, if you have a Kindle Fire and it has been hooked up to a Wi-Fi network, the update has already downloaded and installed for you automatically. Amazon isn't saying much about what the update actually offers, other than it "provides improvements to the operation of your Kindle Fire." Those that have yet to receive the update can head over to the source link for instructions on how to download and install it manually.source: Amazon
