T-Mobile launches Vivacity smartphone for UK market

T-Mobile UK has announced a new entry-level smartphone called the Vivacity. The Vivacity features Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has a 3.5-inch display.

The 118g (4.16oz) Vivacity measures 115mm x 58mm x 10.5mm (4.53in x 2.28in x 0.41in) and features a 5 megapixel camera. The 3.5-inch display packs WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) resolution, and the phone has 512MB of RAM and supports microSD cards up to 32GB in capacity. T-Mobile says that the included battery is good for 4 hours of talk time or up to 8 days of standby.

The Vivacity is available in either black or white color schemes and can be purchased at T-Mobile stores or online today. It is 99 GBP (US$153) on a Pay As You Go plan, or free with a 24 month contract and a 10 GBP per month plan.
