Pining for a Samsung Galaxy S II on T-Mobile but held back because it doesn't come in white? Your prayers are soon to be answered, as Samsung and T-Mobile have revealed that a white edition of the flagship smartphone will be hitting shelves in time for the holidays.

The actual specs should be the same between the frosty-colored version and its pedestrian black counterpart, so this is purely a cosmetic change. Unfortunately, the companies have not revealed exactly when it will hit store shelves, but we expect the price to be the same as the black model ($229.99 with a new two-year contract).

As a fan of white smartphones, I must say, it does look quite dashing.
