Gap, Inc. has announced that it is now accepting Google Wallet as a form of payment at over 65 of its Bay Area Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Banana Republic Factory Stores, and Gap Outlet stores. Customers can now pay for their clothing purchases by just tapping their phone against the receiver at the cash register. Gap did not say if it was planning to deploy the service nationwide.
