Thanks to Any.DO, there is a new task manager/to-do list app in the Android Market. The logically named Any.DO app features a slick user interface, very reminiscent of the Metro interface found in Windows Phone.

Built by the developers of Taskos, a popular to-do list app for Android that could sync with Google Tasks, Any.DO offers extensive collaboration features, an easy-to-use interface, and multiple home screen widgets. Like Taskos, Any.DO syncs with Google Tasks, and you can share tasks via email or SMS. Tasks can be added by voice or typing, but Any.DO does not understand context, so creating a task for "Check the mail tomorrow" will still schedule it for today's list, not tomorrow's.

Aside from the language parsing issues, Any.DO is slick and attractive, and brings some much needed style to the Android platform. Any.DO is free and available in the Android Market now. The developers say they are working on a port for iOS, as well as a web version and a Google Chrome extension. [Any.DO via All Things D]
