Nokia has canceled its plans to launch the Nokia 600 Symbian smartphone and will not ship it to markets as previously announced. The 600 was supposed to run Symbian Belle and was targeted towards music fans with its 106 phon loudspeaker and built-in FM transmitter and FM radio. Nokia claimed it was its loudest smartphone yet when it was announced back in August. "After careful consideration we have decided not to ship the Nokia 600 to markets, we are constantly continuing to refine our portfolio to bring consumers the best possible range of devices to meet their diverse needs," said Nokia in an official statement. No word on what will happen to the Nokia 700 and 701, the other Symbian Belle smartphones that were announced alongside the 600.source: Nokia, via: All About Symbian
