Samsung announces new apps for the Galaxy Note, pushes up release date

Samsung has announced a new suite of apps specifically for the Galaxy Note smartphone/tablet hybrid and its stylus pen. Additionally, Samsung has pushed the release date of the phone up to next week.

The new apps for the Galaxy Note are called "S Choice" apps and take advantage of the Note's S Pen capabilities. The apps available include Soonr, OmniSketch, Zen Brush, ComicBook!, and iAnnotate PDF. They are all available through the Samsung Apps store on the Galaxy Note itself.

Samsung has also moved up the release date of the Galaxy Note to Thursday, November 3. It will be available in the UK across the major networks and mobile phone retailers, including the Carphone Warehouse.
