During the investor call for AT&T's Q3 2011 financial results, the carrier revealed that Boston and Washington D.C. will be the next markets to get its 4G LTE service. Unfortunately, the carrier did not specify when it would turn on the faster wireless service in those markets. AT&T already offers 4G LTE in five markets: Atlanta, Ga; Chicago, Ill; and Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, Tx. AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph De La Vega also said that AT&T's LTE smartphones - due by the end of the year - will be thinner and lighter than those provided by the competition.
