T-Mobile has added the T-Mobile Springboard with Google to its lineup. A 7-inch tablet that has been manufactured by Huawei, the Springboard features the Android Honeycomb operating system and a dual-core processor.
The Springboard is powered by a dual-core, 1.2GHz processor and features a 5 megapixel rear camera with 720p HD (1280 x 720 pixel) video capture capabilities and a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera. It is also equipped with an SD card slot that supports cards up to 32GB in capacity.
T-Mobile does not specify exactly what version of Android Honeycomb the Springboard will ship with, but based on its 7-inch form-factor, we expect it to be Android 3.2 Honeycomb. The Springboard includes a number of pre-loaded apps out of the box, including BLOCKBUSTER on Demand, Netflix, the Blio eReader, and T-Mobile's MobileLife Family Organizer.
The carrier says that the Springboard with Google tablet will be available for purchase by the holidays. Pricing has yet to be announced.
