The T-Mobile myTouch Q is the second of the two new T-Mobile myTouch phones built by LG. It adds a slide-out QWERTY keyboard to the mix and drops some of the features found on its myTouch sibling.
The myTouch Q features a smaller display than the myTouch, as it measures only 3.5-inches across. It is still powered by the same 1GHz, single-core Qualcomm processor, but it does not have the front-facing VGA camera found on the myTouch. The 5 megapixel rear camera with 720p HD video capture is present, though. The myTouch Q's hardware keyboard features four rows of keys, and there is the Genius button to activate T-Mobile's voice command system. Like the myTouch, the version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread found on the myTouch Q has been customized with T-Mobile's myTouch interface.
The myTouch Q will be available in both grey or violet. It is due to hit shelves before the holidays this year, but pricing has yet to be announced.
