Sprint has announced a new option for data service for owners of the HTC EVO View 4G Android tablet. In addition to the traditional, contracted monthly plans, buyers can now opt for data on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Those who are not locked into a contract and purchased the EVO View 4G at full price can get a day pass for 150MB of usage for $14.99, a week pass with 500MB of usage for $29.99, or a full month pass that includes 1.5GB of network usage for $49.99. Sprint says that customers do not need to worry about over the allotment, as the plan will automatically shut off once they hit the data limit, or the time period is over.

While these new options will appeal to a very limited subset of customers, and are pretty expensive to boot, it is nice to see Sprint offering more options for customers. [Sprint via Android Central]
