(How we score)

CPU speed to spare, solid battery life, fun camera
Hardware keyboard is uninspired, weak reception, no 4G data speeds

The T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide is the latest iteration of the myTouch family of Android smartphones for T-Mobile USA. This time around, T-Mobile and manufacturer HTC pulled out all the stops for processing power and camera optics, as the myTouch 4G Slide features one of the fastest processors currently on the market, and has what T-Mobile touts as the most advanced camera on any smartphone to date. In fact, these two qualities are so dominant in all of T-Mobile's marketing materials that you tend to forget that the Slide has the requisite hardware keyboard that gives it its name, though it is present and accounted for.

Do these tweaks and upgrades make the myTouch 4G Slide the best myTouch yet? Yes, absolutely. The myTouch 4G Slide is a speed machine, with great build quality, surprisingly long battery life, and a camera that is a thrill to use. I had a blast with it during my review period, so read on to find out all that I love about the myTouch 4G Slide, and whether there was anything I actually didn't like about it.
